How The SMART Savings Plan™ Incentivizes Philanthropy Through Tax Savings

At the conclusion of their 10 year term, clients of the SMART Savings Plan™ are granted the unique ability to allocate a meaningful portion of capital to a Canadian registered charity of their choice at no out-of-pocket cost.

The individual charitable donation, which typically exceeds $100,000, is provided in the client’s name.

This charitable giving component of their Plan continues our well established tradition of incorporating philanthropic giving as an important aspect of our tax saving solutions.

Ontario Shores Foundation for Mental Health raises funds and support for Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences (Ontario Shores). Our goal is to help bring awareness to and reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness, and to create hope for those struggling through the combined efforts of our team and the generous support of our donors and community.
